About Sabco Sign Co.

Sabco Sign Co. OwnersSabco Sign Company was opened October 1, 1980 by childhood friends Rick Simpson and Butch Branham. Though Butch moved on due to family obligations, Rick has continued their passion for custom signage and built the Sabco Sign Co name throughout the Midwest.

Signage has always been a family affair. At age 8, Rick began working in his dad’s sign shop. He spend endless hours after school and on weekends learning the sign trade until age 14 when his dad, Louie, died suddenly of a heart attack. A freshman in high school at the time, Rick completed high school and college, graduating from Ball State University in early 1980. It was then that Sabco Sign Co was born!.

Sabco Sign Co continues to be family owned and operated business. Rick and his wife, Vicki, feel fortunate to be able to work together each day creating products they feel passionate about. They also have been blessed with three grown children, Lauren, Evan, and Emily. Giving back to the community through his sign business has always been a priority for Rick. He is a member of the service club, Sertoma Club of Greenwood, and a board member of the Keenan-Stahl Boys and Girls Club on the south side of Indianapolis.

Rick’s experience in the sign trade is what sets his business apart from most of the other “sign shops” available today. By combining the older techniques with modern technology, Sabco Sign Co offers the highest quality work at competitive prices.
